Rudolph "Rudy" Stokes, 81, passed away May 27, 2013 at Haven Hospice in Chiefland.

He was born in Brooker Dec. 21, 1931.
He was a Jehovah's Witness for 40 years. He enjoyed gardening and fishing on the Suwannee River, but especially being a "fisher of men" Matthew 4:19.
Survivors include his wife, Nadine Stokes,daughter Diane (Jim) Heslin; sons, Randy (Renee) Stokes, Kelly Ray Stokes; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Horace Stokes; mother, Alberta Stokes; infant son; five brothers and four sisters.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 8 at 4 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Chiefland Congregation,14931 NW Hwy. 19 and will be conducted by Brother Rudy Chaisson.
