Samuel Chase Ellinger, 19, of Trenton passed away March 24, 2018.
He was born in Gainesville Dec. 23, 1998. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, working on cars and painting, both pictures and houses. He was loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sam is survived by his father, James Ellinger of Newberry; his sisters, Korianne Ellinger of Trenton and Sarah Ellinger of Newberry; his grandparents, Ted Pierce of Brandon, Linda and Allen Godwin of Palm Coast and Jim Ellinger of Palatka; his aunts, Tedi Petito and Autumn Ellinger; his uncles, Tate Petito and Joey Ellinger; his cousins, Jason Petito, Laney Petito and Cody Ellinger; his adoptive parents, Mark and Wendi Bastow; his adoptive brothers, Matthew and Ryan and his adoptive grandparents, Cindy Firestine, John and Cheryl Firestine and Mick and Amy Bastow.
He was preceded in death by his mother. Wende Ellinger and his grandmother. Sharilyn LaRue.
A memorial service was held in his honor of Friday, March 30at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Chiefland Chapel, with Bro. Rocky McKinley and Bro. Andrew Petruch officiating.
