Wilmer Carver Hutchinson, 86, of Chiefland, passed away Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018.

He was born in Chiefland March 2, 1932 to Wilmer T. and Lily Mae Hutchinson. He served in the United States Navy. Mr. Carver enjoyed sports and his occupation, which was farming. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Trenton.

He is survived by his wife, Elinor McLeroy Hutchinson of ChieflandL; daughters, Pamela G. (Jay) Lawrence of Trenton and Joy (Gene) Schreiber of Oklahoma; brother, Raymond Lawrence of Trenton; sisters, Doris Gore of TrentonL and Margie Collins of Trenton; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Chiefland Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Travis Hudson officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Trenton. A visitation will be held at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home in Chiefland Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 6-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL, 32606 will be appreciated.
