Jeffery Wayne Fletcher Pitts, 53, of Bronson passed away Feb. 4, 2013.

He was born Oct. 29, 1959 in Las Cruces, N. M. to William Richard Fletcher and Jean Marie (Hebner) Fletcher.
He moved to Bronson 18 years ago from Las Vegas, Nev. He was of the Christian faith.
He served in the United States Navy. He was a retired firefighter. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, football and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Jean Pitts-Wilkerson and stepfather Charles Wilkerson, Bronson; wife, Deborah Hamby, Bronson; sons, Jason Pitts, Barbersville, Calif., Justin Pitts, Barbersville, Kenny James, Chase Pitts, Bronson; daughters, Leanna Bryan, Chiefland, Lyn Anderson, Chiefland, Valerie Lewis, Lancaster, Pa., Cynthia Schiller, Gainesville; brothers, Garry Pitts, Barbersville, Calif., Gerald Pitt, Boston, Mass., Gerald Pitts, Gainesville, Darrell Wilkerson, Old Town; sisters, Christine Jennings, Evanston, Wyo., Carol Lynn Wilkerson, Old Town; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation Saturday, Feb. 9 at Knauff Funeral Home-Chiefland from 4-6 p.m.
