Emma Lee Gore, 89, of Chiefland passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Haven Hospice, Chiefland.

Mrs. Gore was of the Baptist faith and a member of Rock Hammock Baptist Church. Emma enjoyed gardening, sewing, and friends she loved her family to the fullest.
She is survived by sons, Larry Gore of Lakeland, Charles Gore of Chiefland, Jerry Gore of Trenton and Tony Gore of Mayo; daughters, Mable Bass of Gainesville, Sally Browning of Trenton, Kathi Shouthard of Bronson; brothers, Paul Tindale of Chiefland, William Tindale of Branford, and Benjamin Tindale of Plant City; sister, Hazel Hogan of Chiefland; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Gore was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper.
The family will receive friends at Knauff Funeral Home Monday May 6 from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 7 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Knauff Funeral Home, Chiefland. The Rev. Billy Philman officiating.
Interment with follow at Ellzey Cemetery.
