Sharma W. Trusler
CHILLICOTHE: Sharma W. Trusler, 87, of Chillicothe, passed peacefully at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at her residence following a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born October 14, 1925, in Chillicothe, to the late Thurman and Ruby Schoonover Stevenson. On February 15, 1947, she married Kenneth Trusler who survives; also surviving are children, Judith Ann Trusler and special friend, Wilbur B. Poole, both of Chillicothe, Michael A. Trusler, of Webster, TX, and Betsy T. (D. Douglas) Grimes, of Plano, TX; grandchildren, John B. (Erin) Grimes, of Plano, TX, and Wm. Bradley (Rachel) Grimes, of Frisco, TX; great grandsons, William Joseph, Sawyer Chance, and Weston Bradley Grimes; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers, Harvey and Paul Stevenson.
Sharma was a longtime active member of Trinity United Methodist Church and its Susan Henry Circle and also the E.P.U. Women's Social Group.
The family would like to thank Adena Hospice for their kind and loving care Sharma received during her illness.
In keeping with Sharma's wishes, a graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, in Grandview Cemetery with Pastor Kurt King officiating. There will be no public calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 24 S. Mulberry Street, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
