Judy Annon CHILLICOTHE: Judy Annon, 67, of Chillicothe, died 11:45 a.m. Sunday, August 23, 2015 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born May 20, 1948, in Knockemstiff, to the late Howard and Molly Seymour Annon. Surviving are children, Robert (Jerri) Parker, Jr., James E. "Eddie" (Natalie) Parker, of Chillicothe and Shirley Moss and partner, Krystal Detty, of Chillicothe; nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Tina Parker; a brother; and two sisters. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2015 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Adena Hospice Chaplain Kevin Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday. Arledge, Jerry Lee  
Jerry Lee Arledge CHILLICOTHE: Jerry Lee Arledge, 69, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. Jerry was a proud Vietnam Veteran and a member Chillicothe VFW Post #108. Jerry was born Tuesday, October 16, 1945 in Columbus, OH to the late Bennie Holbrook and Helen Holbrook. He is survived by one brother, David Holbrook, two sisters, Kathy (Rodney) Zaayer, Judy Yates; and special friends, Tena Masterman, Brittany, and baby Carter Lee. He is preceded in death by a brother, Bennie Holbrook Jr., a sister-in-law, Patty Holbrook, and a brother-in-law, Larry Yates. A graveside service with military honors will be held at a future date. Ater, Robert Adrian  
Robert Adrian Ater WASHINGTON C.H.: Robert Adrian Ater, 84, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Sunday, August 23, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. at Court House Manor where he had been residing since June 3, 2015. Bob was born September 15, 1930, in Clarksburg, Ohio to Adrian Earl and Genevieve Anna Thoma Ater. He was a 1948 graduate of Clarksburg High School. After living in various cities, he returned to Washington Court House in 2005. He was a chief petty officer in the U.S. Navy and then served 30 years in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He worked in the research department of Mead Corporation in Chillicothe and then Mead Paper in Atlanta and retired in 1989 from Combibloc in Columbus. Bob attended the Good Hope United Methodist Church; was a member of the American Legion and had been a volunteer policeman in Columbus. He loved to build model airplanes. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marcus and Beulah Craig Stoops, Harold and Elizabeth Craig, Richard Craig, Thomas and Gladys Craig and John and Ruth Craig. Bob is survived by his wife, the former Joanne Jane Craig whom he married December 27, 1950; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and John Steinheimer of Atlanta, GA and Judy and Steve Jenner of Naples, FL; and two grandchildren, Jennifer Jo Meredith and her husband, Paul Jones, of Columbus, and Jamie Rebecca Steinheimer of Atlanta, GA; a sister-in-law, Freida Craig of Jeffersonville; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Thursday, Augusts 27, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House with the Rev. Jon R. Silveous, pastor at the Good Hope United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown's Chapel Cemetery near Clarksburg.
