CHILLICOTHE: Claude Thompson, 68, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Sunday, May 12, 2013 in Westmoreland Place following an extended illness. He was born May 9, 1945 in Forest Hills, Kentucky, the son of Clayton and Rebecca (Maynard) Thompson.
Surviving is his a son, Kerby (Angie) Thompson, Chillicothe; a daughter, Tammy (Gary) Fellure, Grove City; grandchildren, Shawn, Taylor, Kelsey, Andrew and Cassie; his former wife, Judy Haycook, Grove City; a special friend, Dianne Hewitt, Chillicothe; brothers, John Thompson, Forest Hills, KY; a sister, Nancy Harrison, Chatteroy, WV; a brother-in-law, Tim Lee, Colorado; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
His parents, brothers, Junior, Jack and Bob Thompson and sister, Dolly Curry preceded him in death.
Mr. Thompson was the owner of Thompson Plumbing for over 30 years. He attended the Tabernacle Baptist Church and was a member of the Bereans Sunday School Class. He was also a member of the FOE, Aerie 600.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, May 16, 2013 in the Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Gage officiating. Following cremation, interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Forest Hills, KY at the discretion of the family. Calling hours will not be observed. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Tabernacle Baptist Church. The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.
