Florence P. Borland

LANCASTER: Florence Pauline Borland, 83, of Lancaster formerly of Chillicothe, passed from physical death into eternal life at 12:13 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012 in the Adena Regional Medical Center.

She was born July 14, 1929, in Ross County, to the late Clarence W. and Edna M. Hill Tatman. She was born again in May of 1993 through the witness of her son Tim.

Mrs. Borland was employed by the U.S. Shoe factory for 32 years and in sales at Elder Beerman Stores for 7 years.

She was united in marriage on July 2, 1949 to William L. Borland. They had two sons, Timothy A. Borland and Michael A. Borland.

Surviving are a son, Michael A. (Teresa) Borland; a brother, Charles W. (Marie) Tatman; grandchildren, Timothy (Paula) Borland, Todd (Cara Jo) Borland, Lindsey (Craig) Stevenson, and Seth Borland; great grandchildren, Thomas (Katie) Borland, Danielle (Eric) Owen, Kayla, Cole and Ty Borland and Chase and Lane Stevenson; great-great-grandchildren, Will Borland, Addison Borland, Cade and Bryce Owen; nephews, Toby Borland, Robert Borland, James Lott, Clarence Lott, Chuck Lott, Jeff Tatman and James Kerrison; nieces, Sharon Grubb, Dora Rinehart, Carol Miner, Suzanne Detty, Vicki Willis, Tracy Tatman, Diane Bell, Loretta Borland, Louella Trimble, Betty Jenkins and Sandy Bowyer; and daughters-in-law, Linda Borland and Laurie Borland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William; twin great grandchildren, Nathan and Anna Borland; sisters, Rowena, Marguerite and Marjorie; nephews, Gene Rinehart, William Lott, Ronald Lott and John Kerrison; nieces, Debra Elliott and Frannie Pazlic; and a special friend, Bob Strawser.

Florence's wish was that all of her relatives and friends would attend her service of resurrection life to be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Brandon Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Ware's from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
