SOUTH SALEM: Henry W. Good, 87, of South Salem, died 8:26 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2012 in St. Catherine Manor, Washington C.H., following an extended illness.

He was born December 4, 1924, in Kanawha Co., WV, to the late Samuel E. and Nellie J. Lacey Good. On October 5, 1957, he married the former Martha R. Bowling, who died November 26, 1972.

Surviving are step-children, Elden Moorehouse and Michael Denney, both of Chillicothe; 3 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Everett Good, of Chillicothe; a sister, Bertha Staats, of Washington C. H. and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 6 brothers and a sister.

Henry was a U.S. Army WW II veteran. He was a building contractor and attended several CCCU Churches. He was a former member of the Elks in Kingman, AZ and was the last of 5 brothers who served in the U.S. Armed Services.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Lou Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery with military rites by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call at Wares from 9:30 a.m. to time of service on Wednesday.
