CHILLICOTHE: James M. Coleman, 68, of Chillicothe, formerly of Columbus, died Thursday morning September 5, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born January 6, 1945, in Franklin County, to the late Richard E. and Emma Morgan Coleman.

Surviving are brothers, Tom (Gene) Coleman and Lynn (Anna) Coleman, both of Westerville; a niece and several nephews; and a friend, Farrah Hamilton, of Columbus.

He was predeceased by a brother Perry Coleman.

James served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Tyler Memorial United Methodist Church. He was a retired restaurant worker, a member of the DAV and American Legion Post 62. James was also an avid photographer.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2013, in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Donald Mundy officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, OH. Friends may call at Wares from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
