Roger A. Dozer
LONDONDERRY: Roger A. Dozer, 74, of Londonderry, died at 8:10pm Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at his residence following a brief illness.
He was born April 6, 1938, in Londonderry, to the late Lawrence and Hazel (Dye) Dozer.
He is survived by his children: daughters and sons-in-law Jacki (Don) Barnhart, and Victoria (James) Richmond; son Eric Dozer, all of Londonderry; grandchildren: Lani (Damian) Fisher, Londonderry, Christopher Barton, of Texas, Laci Richmond, Max Richmond, Lexi Barnhart; great-grandchildren: Brock, Megan and Jameson Fisher, all of Londonderry; his best friend Laura Pierce, Ray, OH; his brother and sister-in-law Richard (Linda) Dozer; sisters and brothers-in-law Janet (Fred) Kohl, his twin sister Ruth (Frank) Scipione, Carolyn Lawhorn, Marian Oney; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by an infant sister and his sister Doris Greene.
Roger was a graduate of Southeastern High School, Class of 1956. He then served his country in the US Marine Corps
from 1956 until 1958. Roger retired from the former Mead/Westvaco in 2000, where he worked as a coater operator, and was a member of the Local 731. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, canning and baking fresh fruit pies.
