CHILLICOTHE: Benjamin T. Cutcher, 86, of Chillicothe, died 10:26 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2012 in Heartland of Chillicothe following a short illness. He was born November 14, 1925, in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late Benjamin G. and Rose Radsick Cutcher.

On January 18, 1945, he married the former Marian V. Weaver who survives; also surviving are children, Timothy R. (Karen) Cutcher, of Cedar Grove, IN, Daniel L. (Judy) Cutcher, of Marysville, OH and Richard D. (Hatice) Cutcher, of Marysville, KY; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a sister, Annabelle Wright, of Sandusky, OH; several nieces and nephews; and dear friends, John and Fran Burdette and family, of Chillicothe.

He was predeceased by sisters, Pauline Bluhm, Sylvia Stacker, Catherine "Kate" Hart, Beatrice Osbore, Rosella Hahn and Mildred Wobser.

Benjamin, a U.S. Navy veteran, served during World War II aboard the U.S.S. New Orleans CA32. He was a member of Walnut Street United Methodist Church and I.B.E.W. Local 129 where he had served as President. Benjamin was President of the Stoneridge Homeowners Association.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012 in the Walnut Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Scott Smith and Rev. Evelyn Weaver officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
