Doris A. Dyer
CHILLICOTHE: Doris A. Dyer, 82, of Chillicothe, died 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in Valley View Care Center, Frankfort following an extended illness.
She was born April 25, 1930, in Hamden, Ohio, to the late Floyd and Cora Bishop Murray. On July 3, 1949, she married John H. Dyer who died October 4, 2002.
Surviving are daughters, Penny Dyer, Janice Dyer and Patsy A. (Jeffrey) Davis, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Amanda Burns, of Chillicothe and Abby (Mark) Defrancisco, of New Albany, Christopher (Danette) Black and Sommer Dyer, both of Chillicothe; great- grandchildren, Victoria Burns, Luke, Cora, and Noel Defrancisco, Drew Hathaway and John and Lydia Black; sisters, Betty Maxwell, D. Lorraine Speraw, Delores (William) Bethel and Mary Lou (Vic) Linegar; a sister-in-law, Clara Murray; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marcia Kay Dyer; a son, John E. Dyer: a sister, Patricia Murray; and brothers, Floyd, Jr., Lloyd and Richard Murray
Doris attended Mt. Tabor Community Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Dennis Garman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Ware's from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
