CHILLICOTHE: Ronald V. Lott, 65, of Chillicothe, died 7 p.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born September 10, 1947, in Ross County, to the late Curtis L. and Marjorie A. Tatman Lott. On March 26, 1969, he married the former Helen K. Bowman, who survives.
Also surviving are a sons, Ronald Lee (Tonya) Lott, of Chillicothe and David Alan Lott and his companion, Tera Bailes, both of Laurelville; grandchildren, Kristin Rapp, Katelyn Lott, Breanna Lott, Dylan Lott, Preston Kinnison, Braden Lott and Skyla Lott; a sister, Vicki (Tom) Willis, of Circleville; brothers, James (Joyce) Lott, Clarence (Janice) Lott and Charles (Darlene) Lott, all of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews; an aunt, Florence Borland, of Lancaster who died September 29, 2012; an uncle, Charles (Marie) Tatman, of Geneva, FL; a brother-in-law, Robert Elliott, of Chillicothe.
He was predeceased by a sister, Deborah Elliott; a brother, William Lott; and two nieces.
Ronald was a U.S. Marine Vietnam War veteran. He was a member of Jefferson Avenue CCCU and was retired from the former RCA/Thomson Consumer Electronics.
God saw you were suffering and he decided it was time to take you home. Ron, you were a wonderful son, brother, uncle, husband, father, and a terrific papaw. Until we meet again. Ron, you will be missed by everyone who knew and loved you.
Ron's family would especially like to thank his loving, caring and wonderful nurse, Sondra Clancy, from National Church Residences.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012, in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastors Mark Clendaniel and John Hocker officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Twp.
