CHILLICOTHE: Robert C. Warth, 80, of Chillicothe, died 8:19 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born May 28, 1933, in Atlanta, Ohio, to the late Fredrick and Bessie Raypole Warth. On December 31, 1966, he married the former Norma J. Angus who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Robert Charles Warth, of Chillicothe; brothers, Clyde F. Warth and fiancee, Norma Gartner, of Chillicothe, Charles (Elizabeth) Warth, of Phoenix, AZ and McKinley (Imogene) Warth, of Ocean Springs, MS; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Joseph and George Warth.
Robert was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He retired from Chilpaco. Robert was a member of the Knights of Columbus and U.P.I.U. Local 988.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 12 noon Friday, April 4, 2014 in St. Mary Church with Fr. Lawrence Hummer Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the WARE FUNERAL HOME where a Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m.
