CHILLICOTHE: David E. "DELONG" Allemann, passed from this world 4:30 p.m. May 4, 2014 at home.
He was born June 4, 1959, to Melvin E. and Minnie Delores Brown Allemann.
David Lived his life as his favorite song, a "Simple Man" never judgmental or holding grudges. He accepted everyone for who they were to him.
Along with his mother, Minnie Delores McGraw, he is survived by his companion, Beth Williams, who was the companion and mainstay thru his six month battle for life. He leaves behind one daughter, Katie, whom he loved dearly; two sisters, Vicky (Tim) Cox and Penny (Chris) Morgan; brothers, Doug (Sherri) Allemann, Sam (Stella) McGraw and Mark (Luann) McGraw; several nieces and nephews; and a very large group of friends whom he held a special bond, Brad Baker, Kenny Hawkins, Steve Uhrig, Monty Elam and Bob Matson. He loved his family and friends dearly.
He was predeceased by his father; paternal and maternal grandparents; an aunt and an uncle.
David was a member of the 1977 graduating class of Unioto and attended Dayton ITT after graduation. He had worked for the former Ros-Tronics and the former Bost Painting and recently had worked for Menards from their opening in Chillicothe until the first part of December when he was forced to resign due to his illness. David had been a member of the Dart Club in Chillicothe and a past member of the Eagles and the Conservation League.
He enjoyed the outdoors and, on his last day, the Lord provided a sunny day for him to be outside for a short time.
