Gwynneth A. Diehl

CHILLICOTHE: Gwynneth A. Diehl, 91, of Chillicothe, passed from this life early Tuesday morning, February 19, 2013 in Heartland of Chillicothe following an extended illness.

She was born March 23, 1921 in London, Ohio, the daughter of George and Floris (Hollar) Gordon. On August 21, 1938 she married Matthew M. Diehl who preceded her in death October 24, 1999.

Surviving are sons, Lewis and wife, Patricia Diehl, Houston, Ohio and Michael and wife, Kimberly Diehl, Marietta, Ohio; grandchildren, Robert Diehl, Mark and wife, Jeanette Diehl, Gregory and wife, Mary Diehl, Scott Diehl, Daniel and wife, Renee Diehl, Christopher Diehl, Thomas Diehl and Michaela Diehl; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Her parents and a son, Kenneth Diehl preceded her in death.

Mrs. Diehl was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and was devoted to her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Saturday, February 23, 2013 in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Lawrence Hummer, celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret's Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to a .
