Today we will say goodbye to one of the best friends and finest man I have ever been blessed to know. If you look in the dictionary under the word 'pastor', you will find a description of Jackie Register. He was the best of the best - a loving friend, mentor, spiritual advisor, husband, father, and grandfather. His walk with and love for Jesus shined in everything he did. In early 1990 he invited me to his church (Rocky Creek Baptist Church) and thus began my serious walk with Jesus. Jackie and his wonderful wife Linda have blessed me more than I can say. Mere words cannot express how much they have meant to me. My love and prayers are sent to his family as they go forward without this wonderful man who touched so many lives. The world has suffered a great loss, but it is certainly heaven's gain. Goodbye my friend.
