Agerton, Margie B. - Panama City  
Margie B. Agerton, 79, of Panama City died Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Bay Center Rehab. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Agerton; one brother, John Bland; one sister, Marie Hobbs; parents, Edward Hilton and Elizabeth Alford Bland. Margie is survived by three daughters, Rachael Franzetta, Janice Agerton both of Orlando, Joyce Agerton of Panama City ; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Rev. Jack Howell officiating. Interment followed in Welcome Assembly of God Church Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. No visitation is planned. Anderson, John C. "Buddy" - Graceville  
John C. "Buddy" Anderson a resident of Graceville and a native of Houston County, Alabama passed away April 21, 2016 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Buddy was a retired owner operator truck driver for 52 years, and an avid gardener. He loved spending time with his wife Maddalene "Shug". Most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was a member of Antioch Assembly of God Church in Grangerburg , Alabama . He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Todd "Rickey" Anderson; his parents, John R. and Lollie C. Anderson of Cottonwood, Alabama. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Maddalene Anderson of Graceville; a devoted son, Mickey Anderson and wife, Zola of Chipley; a grandson Rustin Anderson and wife, Tracy of Marianna; a granddaughter, Nikki Cullifer and husband Justin of Westville; five great grandchildren, Jacob, Hunter, Jacelynn, Weston and Tracen; one brother, Joseph Anderson; two sisters, Ella Elliot and Lois Love all, of Dothan; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2016 in the chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Les Lee officiating with James & Lipford Funeral Home of Graceville directing. Interment followed at Antioch Assembly of God Church Cemetery in Grangerburg, Alabama. Basford, Janice Nobles - Marianna  
Janice Nobles Basford, 84, of Marianna, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016 after an extended illness. Janice was born on Nov. 30, 1931 in Jackson County to the late Moses and Rosa Nobles in Dellwood. Mrs. Basford was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She worked in food service at Chipola College and the Dozier School for Boys for over 33 years. She retired and spent her remaining years tending to her husband and family. She was a devoted member of New Hope Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter F. Basford; parents, Moses Harrison Nobles and Rosa Ruth Nichols, brothers William, Hinton, Homer, and Glen Nobles, and sister Ruth Nobles Pavlus. She is survived by her son, Daniel Basford (Linda) of Marianna; five grandchildren, Jennifer Basford Gunter (Bart) of Tallahassee, Martin Basford (Tiffany) of Grand Ridge, Douglas Gwaltney (Kellie) of Atlanta, Georgia, Karen Gwaltney of Pasadena, California, and Bethany Lowe (Russell) of Tallahassee; 10 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2016 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Brandon Griffin officiating. Interment followed in Cow Pen Pond Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family received friends Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel. Baughman, James Edmond "Ed" - Grand Ridge  
James Edmond "Ed" Baughman, 46, of Grand Ridge died Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. His father, James Winston Baughman, preceded him in death. Ed is survived by one daughter, Laura-Anna Grace Baughman; mother, Monicia Tyre; brother, Matt Davis and wife, Shannon; uncles Fred Julian Tyre and wife, Doris all of Grand Ridge, Levi Edmond Tyre and wife, Lenora of Clarksville; aunt, Sonjia Lee and husband, Roger of Panama City and several cousins and friends. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Rev. Jack Howell officiating. Bauldree, William "Bill" - Marianna  
William "Bill" Bauldree, 80, of Marianna died Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Chipola Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Bauldree served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years and worked for the State of Florida for 17 years before retiring in 1993. Bill was a member of the American Legion for 24 years and a member of the Elks Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nellie Jones Bauldree. Bill is survived by his wife of 35 years, Clara Land Bauldree; three sons, Terry O'Neal and wife, Lisa, Tim O'Neal all of Marianna, Billy Bauldree of Tallahassee; three daughters, Annette Cutchins of Tallahassee, Vanessa Windsor and husband, Ronny of Marianna, Teresa Turner and husband, Fred of Gainesville; one brother, Aaron Bauldree and wife, Barbara of Tallahassee; one sister, Catherine Durrance of Ft. Myers; three sister-in-laws, Faye Land of Bascom, Peggy Aldridge and husband Wayne of Marianna, Norma Bird and husband, Gene of Covington, Georgia; one brother-in-law, James Land of Marianna; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. Interment followed in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Baxley, Mittie Myrle - Chipley  
Mittie Myrle Baxley, age 71, passed from this life Monday, May 2, 2016 at Washington Rehab and Nursing Center in Chipley. She was born in Cottondale, Jan. 2, 1945 to John Henry and Abby Iola (Highsmith) Matthews. Mrs. Mittie worked at a private plant nursery. She was a life-long resident of Washington County and a member of Turning Point Church in Chipley. Mrs. Baxley is survived by her three sons: Danny Baxley and wife Monica, Rex Baxley and Travis Baxley and wife Dana all of Chipley, One daughter: Jennifer Huffman and husband Charles of Chipley, 10 grandchildren: Felicia Floyd and husband Chalop, Monique Baxley, Ashlyn Hadden Baxley, Angelica Baxley, Travis Baxley, Breanna Baxley, Tara Baxley, Sarah Baxley, Emma Baxley and Samuel Baxley all of Chipley, and one great grandchild: Chalop Floyd Sr. Graveside service was held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Wachob Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Boyd III, John James "JJ" - Bonifay  
Mr. John James 'JJ' Boyd, III, age 62, of Bonifay, passed away April 1, 2016 at his home. He was born April 3, 1953 in Burlington, Vermont to the late John James Boyd, Jr. and Kenna Dale Rose Fuller Boyd. Mr. Boyd is survived by his wife, Judy Boyd of Bonifay; a son, Brian Christopher Boyd and fiancé Lori Christine Fortuna of Charleston, South Carolina, Heather Leigh Fludd and husband Kenneth of Charleston, South Carolina, grandson, Miles Rowan Fludd of Charleston, South Carolina. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Northside Assembly of God Church with Rev. Ed Bell and Rev. Chuck Glass officiating. Interment was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in the Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Panama City, with military honors. Family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Northside Assembly of God Church. Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Braswell, Carolyn Tapscott - Grand Ridge  
Carolyn Tapscott Braswell, 72, a former resident of Grand Ridge died, Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at St. Vincent Riverside Medical Center in Jacksonville. A native of Hartselle, Alabama, Mrs. Braswell had resided in Grand Ridge since 1970 prior to moving to Middleburg. She retired as an accountant with the State of Florida Department of Corrections. Carolyn was the one to always stop by and would keep up with everyone's birthday. She cared deeply for everyone and was a member of Welcome Assembly of God Church She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Braswell and a sister, Helen Muller. Survivors include her sons, Scott Parker and wife, Roxanne of Middleburg, Don Braswell and wife, Sherry and Greg Braswell; daughters, Gwendolyn E. Crawford and husband, Tom, Gloria E. Johns and husband, Rick; one brother, Jerry Tapscott and wife, Judy of Ortonville, Mich.; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. (CST) Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Welcome Assembly of God Church with Dr. Thomas Batts and Rev. Jack Howell officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family received friends at 3 p.m., one hour prior to services at the church. Mr. A.J. Brown, age 90, of Bonifay, passed away April 7, 2016 at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay. He was born Feb. 26, 1926 in Bonifay, to the late Johnnie H. Brown and Emma Lee Brown. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by one daughter, Melanie Roseann Brown; three sisters, Ruth Stanley, Lolla Bell Lewis, Lovie Brown. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Hazel Leggett Brown of Bonifay; one daughter, Nelda Williams and husband Charles of Thorton, West Virgina; one brother, Johnnie H. Brown, Jr. and wife, Patricia of Oxford; one sister, Rebecca Lewis and husband K.B. of Bonifay; two grandchildren, Christopher Williams and wife Jessica and Andrew Williams. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2016 at New Bayview Church of God of Prophecy. Interment followed in the Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home directing. Family received friends one hour prior to service.

Brown Sr., Alexander - Ebro  
Mr. Alexander Brown, Sr., 91 of Ebro, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 15, 2016. He was of the Holiness Faith and a member of the McQueen's Temple First Born Church of Vernon. Survivors include his wife of 68 years: Madie Peterson Brown of Vernon; seven sons: Mathis Brown, Alfred Peterson (Gloria Mae), Eddie Brown (Debra), Alexander Brown, Jr. (Betty) , Willie Brown (Cathy), John Brown (Erica), and Timothy Brown (Alice); six daughters: Susie Potter (Willie Lee), Lottie Mike (Bishop Edward), Gloria Peterson (Rev. Richard, Sr.), Brenda Peterson (Thomas, Jr. ), Debra Conner (Elder Don), and Connie Hawes; raised as a son: Msgt Andre Brown (Monique); brothers: Clarence Brown, Leonard (Phyllis) Brown, Lorenzo Brown, Willie Junior (Betty Joyce) Brown, Henry James Smith, Willie James Smith, and Bass Smith; sisters: Arlene Butler, Vida Mae Campbell, and Hilda (Jerry) Burns; along with a large number of grandchildren, great grands and great-great grands; other relatives and friends. Home Going Services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016 from the sanctuary of the McQueen's Temple First Born Church of Vernon, with pastor, Jr. Bishop J.O. Brown and Elder Don Conner, officiating. Committal Services follow in the St. Luke Cemetery of Vernon. Mr. Brown was in repose at the church from 2 p.m. until time for services at 3 p.m. with the Cooper Funeral Home of Chipley, directing.
