Carroll, John Wesley - Leonia Community  
Mr. John Wesley Carroll age 74 of Leonia community of Holmes county, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Bay Medical Center in Panama City. Survivors, Wife, Lilly Carroll of Leonia community; Sons, Robert "Rosce" (Rita) Carroll of Leonia community, James W. "Dub" (Marie) Carroll of Leonia community, Curtis ( Marsha) Carroll of Leonia community, Terry (Amanda) Odom; Daughter, Cissy "Boy" ( Terry) Combs of Panama City; Sisters, Thelma ( Bobby) Taylor of Ponce De Leon, Andra ( Tony) Bunch, Kathy and Paul, Cat and John Butts of Leonia community; 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great grandchildren. Mr. Carroll also raised countless other children with love. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the family residence: 1078 Rock Hill Ct. Ponce De Leon, Fl. 32455 with the Rev. Uvonne Carroll officiating and also other speakers. Burial followed in the Carroll Family cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home of Lockhart directing. Visitation was at the family residence Tuesday, June 21, 2016 beginning at 1 p.m at family residence where all is invited to come and visit the family. Corbin, Clarence Londel - Westville  
Mr. Clarence Londel Corbin, 73 of Westville, died on Monday, June 6, 2016, at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay. Born Monday, August 17, 1942 in Alford, he was the son of the late Clarence Corbin and the late Ida Morris Corbin. Surviving are son, Bruce Corbin of Westville, daughters, Patricia Kristoff of Phoenix, Arizona and Cynthia Clark of Wausau, sister, Myrtie Lawrence of Marianna; seven grand children; five great grand children. A Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chad Corbin officiating. Interment was in Hickory Hill Cemetery, Westville, with Sims Funeral Home directing. The family received friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Sims Funeral Home Chapel.

Cullifer, Glenda Frances - Westville  
Mrs. Glenda Frances Cullifer, 84 of Westville, died on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at her home in Westville. Born Wednesday, January 13, 1932 in New Brockton, Alabama. She was predeceased by her parents J.D. Locke and Janie Hood Quattlebaum, sons, Billy Cullifer and David E. Cullifer, grandson, Victor J. Woytowich. Surviving is her husband Oscar "Bo" Cullifer, daughter, Carol Blackmon of Westville, brothers, Donald Locke of Lake City and Hugh Locke of Westville, sisters, Polly Wise of Westville and Geretha Hudson of Westville; two grand children; nine great grand children; two great great grand children. A Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Camp Ground Church with the Rev. Ernie Gray officiating. Interment was in Campground Cemetery, Westville with Sims Funeral Home directing, The family received friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2016, at Sims Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Cullifer was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 246, who conducted rites at 6:30 pm on Friday, June 24, 2016 in the Sims Funeral Home Chapel.

Camilleri, Lucy - Sunny Hills  
Lucy Camilleri, age 90 of Sunny Hills, passed from this life on May 20, 2016 at Washington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Chipley. Lucy was born on September 23, 1925 in Malta to James Edwards and Conchetta Consliglio. She became a resident of the panhandle in 1981, coming from Queens, New York, where she was employed by MetLife. She was a devout Catholic, and a member of the Rosarians . She loved to knit, sew, crochet, and was an excellent cook. She was an avid supporter of the Democratic Party. She will be remembered as a loving mother who was one of a kind. She was preceded in death by her parents; James and Conchetta Edwards; husband: Henry Camilleri; three sons: John Camilleri, Anthony Camilleri, Charles Camilleri; one daughter: Connie Camilleri; two brothers: John Edwards and Joseph Edwards. She is survived by her two daughters: Mary Moran of Sunny Hills, Rita Dykes of Chipley; two sisters: Marie Schembri of Canada, Theresa Edwards of Australia; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. Memorialization was by cremation with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley in charge of arrangements.

Corbin, Carlton Lenzy - Chipley  
In Loving Memory of Carlton Lenzy Corbin (December 6, 1931 – May 22, 2016): a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Mr. Lenzy Corbin, age 84, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016, at Jackson Hospital in Marianna, Florida, surrounded by his family. Lenzy grew up in the Chipley, area and had lived in the Chipley community his entire life. He was at all times a family man, and consummate gentleman who enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Most importantly was his wife, best friend, and love of his life, Louetta "Lou" Corbin, who was by his side for 64 wonderful years of marriage. Lenzy began his career as a young man at McCaskill Ford in Marianna, where he became very successful in auto sales. He and his wife, Lou, later started their own business, Corbin Trucking Company. Their business was instrumental in the construction of many new emerging highways including Interstate 10 from Tallahassee to Pensacola, Florida. After retiring from the highway construction business, he was elected to the Washington County Board of County Commissioners and gratefully served the citizens of Washington County for 28 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, M. F. Corbin and Mittie Corbin, his stepmother, Frankie L. Corbin, his brothers Lee, Macon, and Samuel H. Corbin, and sisters Mary Daniels, Mable Locke, Sally Gilbert, and Odene Gamble. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Corbin Weathington, who was waiting for him at the gates of heaven. Lenzy is survived by his wife Lou Corbin of Chipley, daughters Kathy Watson and husband Fred of Cottondale, Lynn Spicer and husband Wayne of Tallahassee, son Donald Corbin and wife Delores of Bastrop, Texas, and two brothers, Charles Randolph and Travis Corbin of Chipley. Lenzy is also survived by nine grandchildren: Jamie Watson (wife Mini), Haley Watson, Joseph Corbin (wife Michelle), Josh Rudd (wife Amy), Allison Culpepper (Franny), Teresa Crosby (husband Michael) and Lindsay Morrell (husband Andrew). He is survived by 12 great grandchildren: Will and Trent Watson, Emma Lee and RyLee Emanuel, Wesley Rudd, Glenn and Emma Crosby, Eli and Mozelle Corbin, and Addison and Kennedy Morrell. Visitation was held at Grace and Glory Church Chapel, Brickyard Road, Chipley, Florida, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Family graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Rock Hill Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home will facilitate the services.

Cox, Valerie J. - Marianna  
Valerie J. Cox, 66, of Marianna died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Marianna Health and Rehab. Valerie grew up in Indianapolis and lived in Marianna for the past 20 years. She enjoyed spending time doing crafts and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Ross and Mary Elizabeth Slunaker and her step-mother, M. Bernice Slunaker. Valerie is survived by her husband, Billy Cox of Marianna; one son, Philip Cox of Marianna; three daughters, Jennifer Cox Nolan and husband, Tony of Lake City, Courtney Beck and husband, Alex of Bristol, Heather Taylor of Evergreen, Alabama; one brother, Vernon James Slunaker of Slidell, Louisiana; one sister, Mona Hancock of Greenwood, Indiana and five grandchildren Private graveside services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel will direct. The family received friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
