Watford, Rosene - Greenwood  
Rosene Watford, 75 of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 at her residence. Ms. Rosene was born in Elizabethton, Tennessee on Oct. 2, 1940 to the late Chauncey and Cordelia Baird Cable. She loved reading her Bible, cooking for her family, enjoying moments fishing, gardening and taking care of her pets. Survived by her beloved husband of 56 years Stanley Watford, one son Clinton Watford, Albany, Georgia, one daughter Donna Watford (Lynn), Greenwood; two brothers Odell Cable, David Cable, Elizabethton, Tennessee; three sisters Judy McVettie, Detroit, Michigan, Betty King, Frances Oxford, Elizabethton, Tennessee; two grandchildren Nikki and Matthew; host of nieces and nephews. Memorial service was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 19, 2016 at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home. Family received friends from 1 p.m. until time of service. Watson, Jacquelyn K. (Beazley)  
Jacquelyn K. (Beazley) Watson, age 64, passed peacefully from this life on May 27, 2016. She was born on Sept. 21, 1951 to the late Jack E. Beazley and wife Mary (Daniels) Beazley. She is preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Jack Watson, and one brother, Rober Ellenbrook. She is survived by her loving husband Jim Watson of Chipley, three sons, John Wayne Watson and Jerald Watson of Greenhead, and Jeffery Lee Watson and wife Lori of Plant City, one sister, Sandra Knettles and husband Clifford of Lakeland and five grandchildren. The family received friends for visitation on Monday, May 30, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Chipley. A graveside funeral service was held at Dykes Cemetery in Chipley on Tuesday May 31, 2016, at 11 a.m. with Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Wester, James Emory - Sneads  
James Emory Wester, 82, of Sneads died Friday, June 17, 2016 at his residence. James was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County and was a Behavior Specialist at Florida State Hospital. He liked hunting, but loved to go fishing. James had a love for people and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emory A. and Maida Snead Wester. He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Faye Wester; one son, James Gregory Wester; two daughters, Kelli Soles and husband, Patrick all of Sneads, Donna Chason and husband, Berry of Grand Ridge; one sister, Mary Helen Wester of Sneads; seven grandchildren and nine great -grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. (CST) Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at James & Sikes Sneads Chapel with Revs. Steve Benefield and Gino Mayo officiating. Interment followed at Pope Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Sneads Chapel directing. Whitfield, Dorothy M. - Chipley  
Mrs. Dorothy M. Whitfield, 76 of Chipley, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in the Southeast Alabama Medical Center of Dothan, Alabama, surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was a native of Augusta, Georgia and resided in Chipley for numerous years. She was of the Baptist Faith and a faithful member of the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Chipley, where she served as the President of the Senior Women, a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Senior Choir, a part of the Pastor's Aide Committee, and Assisted with the Youth Department, until her health failed her. She was also a member of the Christian Band of Benevolence, and the Second West Baptist Association's Deaconess Council. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons: Edward Whitfield (Debbie) of Tallahassee, and Vincenzo Whitfield (Sarah) of Ontario, CA; three daughters: Pinkie Whitfield of Chipley, Zena Mitchell of Miramar Beach, and Orita Mitchell of Dothan, Alabama; one brother: Tommy McCrary (Barbara) of Decatur, Georgia; one sister: Roberta Jenkins of Stone Mountain, Georgia; one sister-in- law: Dorothy McCrary of Graceville; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Home Going Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 from the sanctuary of the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Chipley, with pastor, Rev. Tony Davis and Rev. Cleve Wedderburn, officiating. Committal Services followed in the Northside Cemetery, Chipley. The family received friends from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.., Friday, June 24, 2016 in the Cooper Funeral Home Chapel of Chipley. Mrs. Whitfield laid in repose at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time for services at 11 a.m. Arrangements were entrusted to the Cooper Funeral Home of Chipley, FL. Winstead Sr., Grady Howell - Graceville  
Grady Howell Winstead, Sr., passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at his home in Graceville, following an extended illness. Mr. Grady was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina on Sept. 28, 1935 to the late Van Buren Winstead and Mary Dovie Joyner Winstead. A. U. S. Army Veteran, Mr. Grady retired following 42 years from Carolina Telephone known today as Century Link. Mr. Grady then went to work with Walmart in Williamston, North Carolina and retired following 10 years. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Williamston, North Carolina. Predeceased by his parents, brothers James Winstead, Randolph Winstead, Rachel Winstead, J.D. Winstead, Calvin Winstead. Survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Shirley Winstead, Graceville; three children Terrie Wiggins (Allen), Williamston, North Carolina, Grady Winstead (Ann), Beaufort, South Carolina, Emily Taylor (Troy), Graceville; two sisters Ethel Mae Joyner, Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Edna Evans, Columbia, South Carolina; six grandchildren John Ritchie Keel (Jesse), Joshua Van Keel (Tracy), Jessica Winstead, Zachary Winstead, Craig Capano, Ashlee DeWeese (Jonathan), six great grandchildren Clayton Shane Keel, Joshua Vance Keel, Casey Lee Clampet (Jamie), Jolea Keel, Riley Perciful, Savannah Perciful, Chase DeWeese; one great great grandson Bennett. A Celebration of Life will be at 2 p.m.(EDT), Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Williamston, North Carolina with Pastor Larry Stephens and Pastor Gary Jones officiating.
