Allie Fowler, age 100 of Graceville, New Home Community, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 following an extended illness. Mr. Fowler was born in Graceville on Jan. 29, 1913 to the late William "Pete" and Elizabeth Fowler. Beloved father and grandfather, Mr. Fowler farmed all of his life until February of 2011. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by his wife Lorene; son, Earlie B. Fowler; son-in-law, Wayne Lasiter; seven brothers, Harvey, Clayton, Arthur, Huey, Cecil, Homer, and Jay, and four sisters, Daisy Foster, Gladys Sloan, Vicie Hatcher, and Ruby Ward.
Survived by one son, James Fowler (Dot); one daughter, Earlene Lasiter; one brother, Lee Fowler (Wynelle) all of Graceville; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 4, 2013 at New Home Baptist Church with the Rev. John L. Jones and the Rev. Joe Earnest officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. Family received friends at the funeral home Sunday, from 6 to 8 p.m.
