Geraldine Carlile Williams, 82, Youngstown, passed away March 5, 2013 at Sea Breeze Health Care, Panama City, after an extended illness. Mrs. Williams was born March 24, 1930 to the late Leslie "Whit" and Annie Bell Taylor Carlile in Chipley. She was a 1950 graduate of Dothan High School but resided most of her life in Chipley and Youngstown. In November of 1953 Mrs. Williams was married to George E. Williams who preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 2012. Mrs. Williams was an active member of First Baptist Church of Bayou George until her illness. She enjoyed the Red Hat Society, gardening in her yard, ceramics, mentoring/singing with the Senior Adult Choir at local retirement communities and fishing with her family.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her children three daughters, Sharon Commander and Carol Williams of Youngstown, Judy (Eddie) Peterson, Chipley, and one son Dennis (Pam) Williams of Summerfield, FL; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews and extended family members.
A Memorial Service were held Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church of Bayou George with the Rev. Fred Lowry officiating. The family received friends at 1 p.m., prior to the Memorial Service. Internment followed at 4 p.m., at Piney Grove Baptist Church cemetery in Chipley.
