Helena N. Pleasants, age 94 of Bonifay, passed away Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 in the Bonifay Nursing Home. Helena was born March 13, 1919 in Helena, Montana to the late John F. and August (Olish) Norton. She had been a resident of the area since 1971, coming from Rockledge. Helena was a former bus driver in Brevard and Washington Counties and was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Chipley.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by two husbands, Ralph Hayte Morris and Jack Pleasants.
Survivors include two sons, Ralph Morris of Georgetown, Ga., and Johnnie Morris of the Panama Canal Zone, Panama; one daughter, Helena Haskins of Vernon and four grandchildren.
The family received friends Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013 from 1 to 2 p.m., at Brown Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel. Funeral services followed at 2 p.m., in the chapel. Interment followed in Vernon Cemetery in Vernon. Friends and family may sign the online register at http://www.brownfh.net/.
