Ludean (Dean) Register Darley passes away on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014. She was born on May 9, 1926 in Bonifay, to the late Marlin Armour Register and Melvina Holland Register. Dean and he husband, William Kenneth Darley, lived on Lake Sinclair in Putnam County from 1980 until 2009, when they moved to an assisted care facility in Stockbridge. Dean was active in her church, Crossroads Baptist Church, and was a member of Eastern Star.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Haven, Cull, Bud and Avery Register; sand sisters O'Dell Jackson, Ethell Jackson and Ann Byrd.
She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Peacock 9Ken) of Tallahassee and Daria Hargis (Bruce of McDonough; grandchildren, Lisa Saws (Bob) of Tallahassee Chris Jennings of Covington, Kara Phillippi (Eric) of Rock Cave, W.V., Katie Anderson of Austin, Texas, Tracy Stout of Ashland City, Tenn., Lee Ann Bohannon (Todd) of Austin Texas and Wesley Hargis of Ga.; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Joe Register (Shirley) of Wildwood, Jack Register (Katheryn) of Eatonton, Ga., and sister, Artie Massey of Columbus, Ga.
Visitation was held at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on Sunday, Feb. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service was held on Monday, Feb. 24, at Crossroads Baptist Church at 12:30 p.m. with the Rev. John McMillian, Jr., officiating. Following the service burial was at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. , 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA. 30346. Dean and Kenneth celebrated their 63rd Wedding Anniversary on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 together in Heaven. Vining Ivy Hill Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
