Rudolph "Rudy" Oliver, 84 of Bonifay, passed away, Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Ala. Rudy was born in Thomaston, Ga., on June 13, 1928 to the late Paul Clarence Oliver and Elba Schrimschire Oliver. A U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Rudy retired at Ft. Knox, Ky., from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1983, moving to Bonifay in 1986. He was a member of Carmel Assembly Of God Cornerstone Ministries.
Survived by his beloved wife, Myrtle Oliver of Bonifay; brother, Hoke Oliver (Peggy); sister, Gloria Horton (Robert) all of Va.; cousins,
Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Oliver, Macon, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. O.J. Oliver, Bonifay, and Winnell Marlowe, Pine View, Ga., and many nieces, and nephews.
Memorialization was by cremation. Family request those wishing to make memorials to Cornerstone Ministries (Carmel Assembly Of God Church) 1484 Carmel Church Road Bonifay, Florida 32425.
