Tommy Gene "Pop" Hagan Sr., 71, of Sneads died Thursday, April 24, 2015 in Panama City. A native of Calhoun County, Mr. Hagan retired from the U.S. Navy after serving for 23 years and was a Viet Nam veteran. He was an avid fisherman.

His son, Robert Dale "Bobby" Hagan and his parents, Tom Gene and Elmer Johnson Hagan, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Juanell Hagan of Sneads; two sons, Tommy G. Hagan, Jr., of Pensacola and Christopher A. Hagan and wife Elena of Panama City; three daughters, Teresa Terry and husband Charles of Panama City, Vonda K. Blake and husband Lee of Quincy and Leigh Ann Cook of Sneads; one sister, Maddline Moman of Texas and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 6 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2014 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Wright officiating. Memorization was by cremation with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family received friends from 5 p.m., until funeral time at Maddox Chapel.
