Miles Dockery, 28, of DeFuniak Springs, FL passed away Sept. 15, 2008. He was born January 26, 1980 in Geneva, Ala. to Devan and Jackie Spillane Dockery.

Miles was a resident of DeFuniak Springs and worked with Eagle Roadster building Indy Race Cars with his father. He loved riding his motorcycle, enjoyed his animals and he never met a stranger. He also enjoyed shooting his father's many guns with his brother Ryan.
Miles was preceded in death by his father Devan Dockery and maternal step-grandfather Frank Nagy Jr.
Miles is survived by his mother Jackie Skipper; his wife Jennifer Dockery; his father and mother-in-law Jerry and Linda Slay all of DeFuniak Springs; maternal grandmother Rosemary Nagy; paternal grandparents Denzel "Doc" Dockery and Ruth Dockery of Ponce De Leon, FL; three brothers, Jeremy A. Dockery and wife Renee ; Ryan T. Dockery and Zachery F. Skipper all of DeFuniak Springs; two sisters Carrie Cuchens and husband Kenny and Shelby L. Skipper all of DeFuniak Springs; one brother-in-law Christopher Miller and wife Linda of Olympia Washington and one sister-in-law Theresa Miller of Tacoma, Wash.; nieces and nephews Shala Cuchens, Krysten Cuchens, Mehgen Dockery, Julianna Bowers, Aiden Dockery and Jackson Bowers.
A time of visitation was held from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 17, in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 18, at the funeral home with the Revs. Marshall Herrington and Larry McGowen officiating.
Pallbearers were Derek Harbin, Truett Thomas, Bill Bishop, Tommy Lee Lewis, Brandon Garland and Andy Stephens.
