Julie,
Please accept our sincere condolences. Benny was good friend - I enjoyed all our coffee times at the office with him. He was the best "ambassador" the Grain Trimmers ever had. I wish I would have had a chance to see him and talk with him again after you moved from Thunder Bay. Rest in peace, Benny.

My sincerest condolences on the passing of your husband and dad.
I have great memories growing up with your family. Benny was a great neighbour and friend to my family. My children also have fond memories of him. He used to chat with Kyle and Laura as they walked by the Woit home to my moms (Inez) after school.
We have many fond memories of Benny.
Please give Julie a hug for me.
Take care

My Uncle Ben was always a favourite of mine. A tough hockey player but a Gentle Man. He loved to fish and even better.telling fishing stories and I loved to hear them. He left a big impression on me. Through the years I collected some of his NHL career memorabilia. The hockey cards from Detroit and even that year with the Blackhawks, a signed puck , photos and pictures with the Stanley Cup. I want my grandsons to know their Great Uncle Ben who played on 3 Stanley Cup winning teams with the Red Wings and I have put together a display case so they will know.
Our condolences and prayers go with you Aunt Julie, Debbie and Denise. God Bless.
Love you always and think about you often.

For several Sundays, for a few years, I was so fortunate to be able to suit up and skate with the Thunder Bay Old Timers. I was just a small kid but the kindness and wisdom of Mr. Woit has always stayed with me. Fly on Great Wing!
