I just wanted you to know that we all thought a lot of Mike. We were neighbors for many years. Our sons grew up together and were friends. My family has been through some very tough times too but nothing compared to what you're experiencing. I told my son Michael about this yesterday and he wanted me to make sure you all knew we were thinking about you and how much he will miss your son. Take care and god bless.

Carol-I so wish I could have been there with you during this time but I couldn't and I know that you understand. As a family we have been through a lot together and God has always been there with us. Everyone in HCRC has been praying for you and the family. So has Pastor who is in Michigan now. He asked me to share a passage with you. It is Isaiah 57:1. Knowing the Bible as you do he knew you would understand the message. I would like to give you my favorite passage too. It is Isaiah 43. I am praying for peace and comfort for you and the family. God always takes care of things before we know what we really need. I love you and the kids. They will always be kids in my eyes. If you need anything just call me. I don't text. God be near all of you especially tomorrow Saturday and the days after that as you remember all the good memories you all had with Michael. I did not send flowers because I have something else in mind that I will be sending in the near future. Hug the kids for me. Love to all of you. Jo
