Chuck Brisco was a dear friend who shared many years with me across the aisle at the entrance area of the Citrus County auditorium during our club's annual December carving show. We shared our love for relief carving and learned from each other. He will be missed by many who attend the show. Whether it was his smile or carvings will be hard to tell. His carvings will always remind us of what a great person he was.

My sincerest sympathy is sent your way with the passing of Chuck. I can remember Chuck and my grandpa sharing stories of their past with each other. Grandpa Higgs always enjoyed speaking with Chuck.
Janna, please remember that God chose this man to be your grandfather. He chose him just for you. I hope that can bring you comfort knowing what a blessing that was and will continue to be.
Jodi, I hope you can find comfort in the same thought. God blessed your family with this wonderful man. You have been divinely favored.
I hope all of you can find peace and comfort in the coming weeks, months and years ahead.

What fond memories I have of Uncle Chuck. He always had time for the kids! Our prayers are for Aunt Emily, Janet, Kathy, Jodi and Charlie and their families as they go through this difficult time. Saying goodbye is never easy but it is so sweet to know the "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints!" We'll see him again.
