To My Beautiful Aunt Gene. You are at peace now with your loving husband, your son, Mammy, and your sister (my mother). I will miss our long phone conversations and the way you made me laugh all the time - especially with your jokes for Richie. You were the God mother that was there for me to fill a sad void when I lost my mother. May you rest in peace. I know this is a very difficult time for you, Tom and Chris - but know I will be here for you always. Our hearts are aching alongside you. Our prayers are with you all. Love Laurie and Richie too.

Although Aunt Gene is no longer in our physical presence, her memory will live forever. She was such a soft spoken, sweet woman, always with a smile on her face, with her dark hair and light lipstick and the one who introduced me to ABC Pizza...for BREAKFAST! :) I will always cherish my childhood memories of fishing off the dock in the canal right in her back yard. I will hold dear the homemade wedding gift that is on my wall that she hand stitched, "And they lived happily ever after." Rest in peace and know we'll never forget the wonderful woman she was and the amazing friend she was to my mom. My thoughts and prayers to Tom and Chris and all our family.

My heart goes out to you both.As you feel sorrow and pain, feel at ease that she is happy and free from it. She now is amongst her parents and brother and sister catching up on all the great memories they had together. It's not a forever good bye, it's only a see you later when we all will be together. Stay strong, lean on one another and remember how strong and great she was. Rest in piece "GREAT" Aunt Gene, please give a big hug and kiss to your sister (my grandma). Love Cousin Edward

Chris and Thomas-
This is a sad day. I was fortunate to live next to your family in Levittown.
I have many wonderful childhood memories that include your mother.
Our mothers were best friends
I am sure our mothers are now playing cards and having a beer
Mrs mccaffrey made "vacuum lines" famous.
May you find comfort that your mother touched many lives
With sympathy and love
