Joyce A. Halicky, 71, Inverness, died June 24, 2014, at her residence under the loving care of her family and with the assistance of Hospice of Citrus County.
Joyce was born on October 2, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Paul and Bernice (Marek) McCormick. She was the supervisor of production at Western Electric in the service division for 20 years. Joyce was a student of the Bible, an active minister of Jehovah's Witnesses, and loved her ministry work.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 33 years, Harry J. Halicky; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and James Anderson, Inverness; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Steve Adams, Normal, Illinois; and niece and nephew Mary Katherine Fitzgerald and Andrew Adams.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Inverness South Congregation Kingdom Hall. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Joyce's memory to Hospice of Citrus County, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
