I regret that I discovered my relationship to Johnny later in life and only had one or two chances to meet. My Great Grandmother Ida Gustafsson was one of, I believe 12 Children , and she came to the US at age 17 and eventually married my Great Grandfather Ludwig Erickson. Ida's younger brother Erik was Johnny's Dad. Our cousin Kjell and I met in Sweden in 1982 and during one of Kjell's trips to the US, we visited Kathy and Johnny in NJ, which is where I was born , I believe, in the same hospital as Johnny which I think was called " Mountainside Hospital" .Kjell's Father, Svante was the baby of the family born c. 1923 .
Kathy, I hope you are doing ok down in Florida in this challenging year.
Best Wishes

I am saddened at the News of Johns passing. My condolences to Kathy and his extended family and friends. I literally had a dream of him a few weeks ago. He was riding his chopper with Kathy on the back. Both were so happy. He will always be in my thoughts. He was a great friend and will be missed.
