I can't believe it's been 11 years. It sometimes seems like you were just here yesterday. I miss you everyday and love when you send me messages. They always come when I need them most. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
We can not bring her back for she's in heaven with God and her beloved Carter. But we can take her as an example of how to better live our lives.
We will always love you, Mama.

Usless I will miss our phone calls almost every day. But I know you are happy with Carter now. That is where you wanted to be. You said many times all of your friends where gone and you was alone. But not no more. You, moma, Pat, Joe, and Carter are forever together. Playing jacks, bingo, listening to Carter and Joe play and dancing. All happy and great memories. Thanks for all of those. I will cherish them forever. Until we see each other again. I love you Usless. Always in my heart. I am doing what I promised you I would do.
