Rouse, James P. - Nobleton  
James P. Rouse, 84, of Nobleton, Florida, passed away Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, in Brookville, Florida. A native of Worthington, Missouri, he was born Feb. 7, 1930, to Clarence and Anna (Sparks) Rouse, one of nine children. Mr. Rouse was a retired carpenter and steel factory worker and moved to Floral City in 1972 from Wisconsin. After the passing of his wife of 40 years, Delores Rouse, on May 10, 2001, he moved to Nobleton and was a former member of the Retreads Motorcycle Club of Bushnell, Florida. James was an accomplished spoons player, earning him the nickname "The Spoon Man," and he also loved to fish. James is survived by his four children Peggy Resczenko (husband Paul), Nobleton, Florida, Rosie Thomas (boyfriend Stephen Sanczel), Plant City, Florida, Janet White, Floral City, and Steven Rouse, also of Floral City; loving girlfriend of 13 years, AnnaMarie Epling, Nobleton, Florida; sister Mona Babs of Illinois; and brothers Charles and June Rouse, both of Missouri; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to his wife Delores, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Rouse; and five siblings, Nova, Eva, Ruby, Bert and Alvin. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, where a chapel service will take place at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at Fountains Memorial Park, Homosassa.
