Ray, Rosemary - Homosassa  
Rosemary E. Ray, 70, of Sugarmill Woods, entered into rest Aug. 28, 2015, with her family by her side. Rosemary was born June 28, 1945, in La Grange, Missouri, the daughter of Ralph and Rose Gullion. Following high school graduation, Rosemary attended the Gem City Business School and later attended the University of Maryland Paralegal Studies, and the Ramapo College of Business. Rosemary held different technical sales positions with Element Technologies in California and also for Degussa Corporation in New Jersey. She was the former activities director for the Villa San Ramon Assisted Living and Independent Care Facility in California. Rosemary was active in pug rescue, serving as chairperson for the Northern California Pug Rescue. After moving to Florida, she was active for many years with Women of Sugarmill Woods and their many charitable endeavors, with special affinity for the Take Stock in Children charity of Citrus County. Rosemary was fond of traveling (especially cruising). Her favorite travel destination was the Big Island, which she and her husband visited frequently over the years. Rosemary enjoyed playing bridge with her many friends in their various bridge groups. Rosemary is survived by her husband, Tom, at home; son, Bob Moss and his wife Erin of Panama City, Florida; stepdaughter, Tricia Carvalho and her husband John of Seattle, Washington; brother, Phil Gullion of La Grange, Missouri; and sister, Carol Vogel and her husband Robert of Quincy, Illinois. Rosemary also leaves seven grandchildren, whom she adored. A memorial gathering will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, with a celebration of life service to follow at 3 p.m. at the Wilder Funeral Home, 4890 S. Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa, FL 34446. The family requests you join them for a reception immediately following at the Sugarmill Woods Country Club. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that any donations be made in her name to her favorite charity - Take Stock in Children of Citrus County. TSIC is a statewide school-based mentoring program that assists deserving youths from low-income families by providing college and vocational scholarships, volunteer mentors, support staff, tutoring, early intervention and long-term support. All donations are matched by the State of Florida. Please submit any donations to: 9360 Winwood Loop, Inverness, FL 34450, with "Rosemary Ray/WSW" in the memo section.

Rock, Patricia "Patty" - Inverness  
Patricia "Patty" Anne Rock, age 59, Inverness, died September 1, 2015 at her residence under the loving care of her family. Patty was born on December 30, 1955 in Escanaba, MI to the late Vincent and Dorothy (Jokie) Lewis. She served our country in the United States Army Reserve. A loving wife, mother and "Mimi", she was devoted to her family and her family members felt she was and will continue to be "the glue of the family." She was a caring and self-less person. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 35 years, Robert Rock; her son Robert Rock, Jr. (wife-Lara), Columbus, MS; daughters Christine Waller (husband-Adam), Floral City, FL and Elisabeth Rock, Lady Lake, FL; brothers Richard Lewis, Las Cruces, NM, Dean Lewis (wife-Bettye), Palm Springs, CA, Michael Lewis (wife-Mary), Crown Point, TN; sisters Sandra Hiss (husband-Richard), Las Cruces, NM, Linda Lewis and Susan Belleau (husband-Brent), all of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; grandchildren Brayden, Caleb and Aubree. A celebration and tribute to Patty's life will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory.

Wilda Ross, 99, of Umatilla, Florida, died Aug. 30, 2015, at her home. Local arrangements are being entrusted to Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Lecanto, Florida. Burial will be in Pennsylvania.
