Jake Riley Hunter, 21, of Hernando, FL passed away April 21, 2016 in Ocala, FL. He was born on February 14, 1995 to Jeffrey and Carla Hunter in West Hills, CA. He moved to the area about 2 years ago from Mission Viejo, CA where he graduated from Serra High School in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Jake was passionate about electronic music, in studio music production, and being a DJ. He attended many electronic music festivals across the country where he made many new friends. Jake is survived by his parents Jeffrey and Carla Hunter of Hernando, FL and his brother Eric Hunter of Mission Viejo, CA. Family will receive friends from 10AM until service time at 11AM Monday, May 16, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home & Crematory in Lecanto, FL.

Shafer, Dorothy Ann (Everson)  
Dorothy Ann (Everson) Shafer, 80, died on Thursday, April 28, 2016. She was born into this life on June 20, 1935 to Ann (Kelly) and Bernard Everson Amityville, Long Island, NY. She was raised in Hillsdale, NJ and also resided in Northvale, NJ. She and her husband Ralph moved to Dunnellon, FL in 1978. Dorothy was the beloved wife to Ralph Shafer for sixty five years this July. She was a devoted mother to Linda (Harold) Ettinger, El Paso, TX, Robin Shafer, Greenwood Lake, NY, Mary (Duke) Saffert, Old Tappan, NJ and Charles Shafer, West Kingston, Rhode Island; she was a loving grandmother to Michael, Daniel (Natalie) Saffert, Meaghann Shafer, Abraham and Benjamin Ettinger; she was a loving sister to Madeline Hart, Bernard (Carol)Everson, Eileen Williams and sister in law Sue Everson. Dorothy is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Yannucci; her brother Peter Everson and brother in law George Williams. Dorothy loved life, always ready to help friends and family. She loved a good party, the first and last on the dance floor. She will be always loved and missed by all. There will be a public visitation for family and friends on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 4-8 PM with a wake service starting at 6:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon. Funeral Services will be held in New Jersey followed by burial in Spark Hill, NY. Pizzi Funeral Home in Northvale, NJ will be handling Funeral Services. The family prefers in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Citrus County of the Nature Coast: P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464. Clements, Trevor - Citrus Springs  
Trevor William Clements, 22 of Citrus Springs, Florida passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016. Trevor was born September 4, 1993 At Fort Lewis, in Tacoma Washington to Patrick and Rebecca Clements of Citrus Springs, Florida. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents Kenneth and Maryann Clements of Citrus Spring, Florida. He also leaves behind his beloved "Little sister": Sara Elizabeth Clements of Citrus Springs, Florida. Trevor is also survived by 3 aunts: Elizabeth Garvey, Margaret Katich and Theresa Clements all of Jupiter, Florida. Trevor was loved by all who knew him, had a smile that brightened everyone's day and will be greatly missed. Gone too soon and will always be remembered for his "One Love". Carlucci, Michael - Homosassa  
Michael T. Carlucci, 44 of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at his home. Mike was born on January 12, 1972 in Flint, MI to Anthony and Eunice S (Hensley) Carlucci. He moved to Citrus County 38 years ago from Flint, MI. Mike was a Fisherman for Charlies Fish House and did landscaping with Chris Watson. He attended the Homosassa Church of God. Mike was proceeded in death by his brother Anthony Carlucci. Left to mourn their loss are his parents Anthony and Eunice Carlucci; companion of 20 years, Christy Elliott; one son, Michael Tyller Carlucci-Elliott; Step daughter Brittany Stevenson and two step grandbabies Brad and Mia; one sister, Mariann (John) Langley; two brothers, Michael Carlucci and Jeremiah Carlucci; Nieces, Krystin Langley, Samantha Carlucci, Allyson Carlucci, Kelsey Chinevere and Nicole Chinevere; Nephews, Shane Langley and Anthony Carlucci; Great Nephew, Bentlee Carlucci and many extended family and friends! In his free time he loved to take his son fishing and watch Nascar races. This is from your brother Jeremiah: "Fisherman's Prayer" God, grant that I may live to fish, until my dying day. Dullaghan, Barbara A. - Inverness  
Barbara A. Dullaghan, 58, of Inverness, FL passed away April 22, 2016 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness. She was born on August 7, 1957 in Jamaica, Queens, NY to the late Edwin Grayford and Ruth Lillian (Kwaak) Shaver. Barbara was a very talented cosmetologist, and was employed by several businesses. She arrived in this area in 1986, coming from North Babylon, NY, and was a Messianic Jew. Barbara enjoyed thrift shopping, gardening, gift giving, and spending time with her family and friends. She was also an excellent, self-taught quilter. She was truly a "people person", always having compassion and loving to hear other people's stories. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Brian Patrick Dullaghan Jr.; 3 children, Brian Patrick Dullaghan III and his wife, Lyndsey of Adrian, MI; Melanie Dullaghan, Inverness; Melissa Alling and husband Sean of Citrus Springs; 1 brother, Edwin Grayford Shaver II of Lake Havasu, AZ; 3 half brothers, Michael Shaver, Greensboro, NC; Danny Shaver, Greensboro, NC; Donnie Winter, Tampa, FL; 4 half sisters: Bonnie Scanlon, Franklin, NC; Melissa Hulsey, Rome, GA; Winnie Shaver, Greensboro, NC; Vivian Shaver, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren: Annabelle, Harlee, and Cassidy Dullaghan of Michigan; Brittany, Kaitlyn, and William Sanborn of Inverness; and Sean Alling Jr. of Citrus Springs. Hile, Katherine - Homosassa  
Katherine Cleora Hile, 86 of Homosassa FL. passed away peacefully of natural causes on April 23rd at home with family and the incredible, caring nurses of Hospice. Kate was born December 30 1929 in Marion Ohio to the late Bill and Belle (Bailey) Payne. She was raised in Tiffin Ohio. She moved to Citrus County in 1971. She worked in healthcare for most of her career at CMH and Oak Hill Hospital. She also worked in the commercial fishing industry for many years with her husband Jim Hile of Homosassa who survives her. Kate's love for her family was boundless. Her heart was huge. Besides family, her passions included gardening, flowers, painting, music and her faith in God. She was a friend to animals, the Earth and the less fortunate. Her positive attitude was infectious. She was selfless. Her family will miss her forever. She was predeceased by her first husband, Gordon Hughes, whom she bore her 5 children with. Her oldest son Gary Hughes went to God in 2010. He had resided in College Park Ga. Surviving mom are her 6 younger sisters, Kate was the oldest girl in a family of 14 kids. Also her children Barbara (Hughes) McNeil of Ocala, FL; Karen Hughes, Summerfield, FL.; Terry Hughes (Patricia) of Palmetto Ga. and Richard Hughes (Charlotte) of Shelby, OH. Her grandchildren Shannon Brooke Hughes, Amanda Kahler, Steven Kahler ll, Michael Hughes, Katie Hughes, Garrett Hughes, Hannah Hughes, Megan Hughes, Ashley Walter, Amanda Scheck and Brandon Scheck. Kate had 7 great- grandchildren. Per Mom's request we will have a private celebration of her amazing life followed by her ashes taken home to Ohio and scattered there.
