RIP Charlie. I will never forget the times when we got together and fished from local piers down there and hung out at the local flee markets. My condolences to your family and friends.

Hey Charlie,

It's been a long while since the days we hung out together. Then you migrated to the SE and we found our home in the NW, and that's a long stretch of space in between. But memories have no barriers. They flood back with every reminder and the miles and years are gone. You couldn't have imagined how often you were in our thoughts and conversations over the years.

You were a friend through many unforgettable experiences, during a time of tsunami sized changes. We had a time, you and I. We didn't have too much of an idea what we were heading for when we drove west in your '48 sedan delivery. I'm glad that didn't stop us. Somewhere in the mountains of Oregon, you and I were a couple of greenhorn tree planters for one miserable cold week. We were snowed out of work, so we moved on down the road. I didn't know it, but I had just found what would become my life. In just a few more years I would move back out there with Vicki. I think you figured something out that week too...that you wanted to live somewhere warmer and sunnier in the winter!

Yeah, we all moved on a long ways since the early 70's. Seems like some folks even choose to forget those days. But I know, for me, and later for me and Vicki, those times influenced everything that was to come. I choose to remember...we choose to remember...and we'll never forget you Charlie.

Rest in peace.

We shared share so many fun and ever lasting memories from Kinder Garden through our entire lives. Good friends are few, and Charlie, you were a true friend through all our years. One day we will catch up and going Trout fishing on the Tomorrow river in Amherst, WI.once again.

Hopefully you'll hook up with Mike (Jimbo) Gannon and go fishing in Canada. Its been sometime.

In my memories forever,
