Deseray Lynn Bowles, 24, of Inverness, Fla., went to be with the Lord March 31, 2013, in Inverness. She was born Dec. 22, 1988, in Tampa. She was a homemaker, a devoted loving mother and sister. She enjoyed music.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marlena Roddenberry, July 22, 2006; and her sister, Falisha Roddenberry, Aug. 15, 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Talia Bowles of Inverness; her father, Kenneth Whitney of Inverness; a brother, Allen Coonfield of Inglis; a sister, Deborah Roddenberry of Crystal River; step father, James Roddenberry; her grandmother and step grandfather, Rev. Phillip and Deborah Whitley of Inverness; her grandfather and step grandmother, Randolph and Deborah June Jr. of Palatka; maternal great-grandparents, James Holly and Zula Young of Yankeetown; her aunt, Sherry Fowler of Inglis; and her cousins, Charlene Panks and Tristan Bozeman.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday April 6, 2013, at the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Crystal River, with the Rev. Phillip Whitley officiating. A visitation will be from 11 a.m., until service time. Interment will follow at the Cedars of Lebanon Cemetery in Levy County.
