Mrs. Ingrid Winderbaum a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, age 80, of Beverly Hills, FL, died March 31, 2014 in Ocala, FL. The Service of Remembrance for Mrs. Winderbaum will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Beverly Hills Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes with Rabbi Ze'ev Harari officiating. Interment will follow at Fero Memorial Gardens, Beverly Hills, Florida.
She was born July 31, 1933 in Koblenz, Germany and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Vera (Hollander) Morgenthau. Mrs. Winderbaum had retired as an assistant bank manager for Provident Savings & Loan, Rockland County, NY and moved to Beverly Hills, FL from New City, NY in 1989. Mrs. Winderbaum was a member of Temple Beth Sholom and the Beverly Hills Recreation Association. She loved needlepoint and cross stitching. Mrs. Winderbaum crocheted and donated blankets for the clients of local hospices.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Winderbaum was preceded in death by a granddaughter Melissa and the family dog, Whiskers. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Stanley Winderbaum of Beverly Hills, FL, 3 sons, Larry (Kate) Teller of Flagstaff, AZ, David (Janet) Winderbaum of New Windsor, NY, Marc (Cindy) Teller of Granville, NY, 2 daughters, Cindy (John) DeSimone of Congers, NY, Stacy (Brian) Messett of Alexandria, VA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Rachel, David Michael, Andy, Scott, Eric, Michael and Dana.
