Johnny Hall Palmer, 70, of Homosassa, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center. A native of Centre, Ala., he was born Aug. 7, 1942, to Hall and Maude
(McCloude), one of four children. Johnny was a retired construction superintendent, most recently with Donald Austin Construction, in Germantown, Tenn., and moved here in 1979 from Largo, Fla.
Mr. Palmer was a U.S. Army
veteran from 1959 to 1962 and was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Palmer, on April 27, 1997, and son John Palmer, on Sept. 11, 1993. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Martha Palmer of Homosassa; his daughters, Sherri Palmer, Suzanne Arnold (Mark) and Angela Stone (Greg Angust), all of Homosassa; his son, Christopher Stone (Danielle), New Hampshire; his brothers, Alan Palmer of South Carolina, and Layne "Steve" Palmer of Homosassa; his sister, Ann Hill of Alabama; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
