Lacy Wayne Belcher

Lacy Wayne Belcher, 65, of Homosassa, Fla., passed away March 30, 2013, at his home. A native of Bluefield, W.Va., he was born June 23, 1947, to Lacy Willard and Elizabeth Ann (Kipfinger) Belcher, one of seven children. Mr. Belcher was a retired estimator for Coastal Steel in Pinellas County, with over 30 years of service. He moved to Homosassa in 2004 from Zephyrhills. Wayne, as he was known to all, loved the water, especially fishing the Homosassa River.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Robert Willard Belcher and Kathryn Sue Dillard. He is survived by four siblings, David Belcher (wife Paula), Plant City, Judy Emricson (husband Keith), Wimauma, Linda Shrader, Riverview, and Dreama Blount (husband James); girlfriend, Paula Zelaya, Homosassa; brother-in-law, Darryl Lyle; and many nieces and nephews, including Billy Schrader, with whom he had a very special nephew/uncle relationship.
A memorial service of remembrance will be 4 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013, at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, www.wilderfuneral.com.
