Thomas H. Wayble, 79 of Crystal River, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at the Hospice of Citrus County unit of Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. He went to play his Banjo in the sky.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jessie Wayble; wife, Mary Ann Wayble, a son, Mike Kerfoot and a stepdaughter, Cindy Disko. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Lynch Wayble of Crystal River; brother-in-law, Howard Dotson and wife, Joyce of Eustis; son, Thomas C. Wayble and wife, Beth of Crystal River; two daughters, Joyce Rudowski and husband, Bob of Wyandotte, Mich., and Linda Money Hinde and husband, Vance of Crystal River; son, Gene LaRue of Hernando; one stepson, Ray Owens of Williston, S.C.; grandchildren, Heather Wayble (Ryan), Jason Money and wife, Shalon, Matthew, Michael Rudowski and Derrick and Dustin LaRue; two great grandsons, Jaden and Jordan Money.
He retired as a shift supervisor for Florida Power Corp's Crystal River Plant with 34 years of service. He was a graduate of the Georgia Military Academy, a member of the Loyal Order of Moose
Inverness Lodge #2112 and the NRA. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and bluegrass-picking friends.
A celebration of his life will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Crystal River with a visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at the Crystal River Memorial Cemetery in Crystal River. The family suggests that those who wish in lieu of flowers may make a memorial contribution to Hospice of Citrus County at P.O. Box 641270 Beverly Hills or envelopes will be provided at the service.
