Darwin F. Fosnacht, 81, Bushnell, Fla., died at home April 14, 2013. A native of Canfield, Ohio., he was born Sept. 19, 1931, to the late Grover Cleveland Fosnacht and Bernice (Lynn) Fosnacht and moved to this area in 1961 from there. He was a 50 year member of the Pipe Fitter's Union Local No.123 in Tampa and served our country in the U.S. Navy. His affiliations include a 50 year membership in the Canton, Ohio Masonic Lodge, VFW Post 7122 in Floral City, Homosassa Eagles Lodge No. 4272, American Legion Post 101 in Bushnell, and the IRRU Club in Inverness.

Left to cherish his memory are three children, Richard (Ann) Fosnacht, Blythewood, S.C.; Russ (Judy) Fosnacht of Homosassa; Daniel (Carolyn) Fosnacht, Largo; his loving companion of 10 years, Ellen Sherrod of Bushnell; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Audrey Marie Fosnacht.
Military graveside honors will be rendered at 10 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2013, at Florida National Cemetery by VFW Post 7122. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home. Chas E Davis Funeral Home with Crematory.
