William "Bill" Harrison Odom passed peacefully Sunday, March 23, 2014, at his home inn Homosassa, Fla., attended by his loving wife, Valri. Bill was born in Belleville, Ill., Sept. 8, 1951. After graduating from Belleville Township High School, Bill served his country by joining the Army in 1969. He later worked as a moulder at Modern Foundry in Mascoutah, Ill., and as a mechanical millwright at Cerro Copper in Sauget, Ill., before moving to Florida in 2004. Bill was a member of the Shiloh Eagles Aerie 545, the Belleville Moose Lodge and was a longstanding member of HOG. He was a past member of the Southern MC of Homestead, and of ABATE of St. Clair County. Bill's lifelong passions were his motorcycles and animals.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Beusetta Odom née Burns; his father, Harrison Odom; and a sister, Diana Thomas. Surviving are his wife, Valri L. Odom née Knepper of Homosassa; his stepson, Keith C. Warren of Lawrenceville, Ill.; and his sister, Sharon Pierce.
Cremation will be under the direction of the Neptune Society. A memorial service will be held at The Freezer in Homosassa on a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Seacrest Wolf Preserve (seacrestwolfpreserve.org), to the HPH Hospice (HPH-Hospice.org), or to the animal rescue site of your choice.
