Arthur Lyman Frink, 73, of Pine Ridge died Thursday, September 10, 2015, at his residence under the loving care of his wife, Peggy, and family.
He was born June 10, 1942, to Charles and Ethel Frink in Passaic, New Jersey. He was a graduate of the Maine Maritime Academy and sailed the world while working as an engineer in the Merchant Marine. He moved to Florida in 1972, from New Jersey, where he began his career with the Florida Power Corporation, retiring after 30 years. He was a lifelong avid sailor. His love for the water brought him and his family to Citrus County in 1976. He was an active ham radio operator, and enjoyed traveling the country in his motorhome with his wife, Peggy. He was also a city councilman and a volunteer firefighter for the City of Yankeetown.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy; sister Carol Owens and husband Brooks; daughter Sandy Amaturo and husband Fred; son Ken Frink and wife Michellene; son Ron Frink and wife Donna; grandchildren John, Steven, Joshua, and Kiah; great-grandchildren Noah and Elijah; nephew Michael and niece Melissa.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial contribution to Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast or the . Private cremation will take place under the direction of Strickland Funeral Home and Crematory, Crystal River.
