Beverly E. Bourdo, 80, of Homosassa, Fla., passed away peacefully Sunday, March 23, 2014, at HPH Hospice House in Lecanto.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon, Nov. 19, 2013. She is survived by her children, Suzanne (Bob) Ploeckelman. Jeanne (Mark) Buckau, Dan (Nancy) Wentworth, David (Candi) Bourdo, Jim (Darlene) Wentworth; step-daughter, Darlene (Bob) Blume; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Beverly and Vernon moved to Homosassa 14 years ago from Violet Hill, Ark., and are originally from Wisconsin. Beverly enjoyed spending her time dancing, crocheting, reading, playing cards, and spending time with family.
A luau celebration of Bev and Vern's lives will be at their home, 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
