Cassie Louise Fincher, 77, of Beverly Hills, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at Woodland Terrance of Citrus County. She was born Oct. 22, 1935, in St. Joe, Fla., to Edward and Emma (Creamer) Evans. She came here four years ago from Douglasville, Ga., where she retired after 25 years of service for A.M.E.D. of Atlanta.

She was of the protestant faith and was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby Fincher, Oct. 28, 2009. She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Judy Starkey (Ron) of Beverly Hills and Linda Dunlap (Lamaar) of Cleveland, Ga.; two brothers, Aaron Evans, Paul Evans; three sisters, Esther Harris, Myrtice Chambers, and Rachel Glass all of East Point, Fla.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Crystal River, with Hospice of Citrus County Chaplain Robert Mobley officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m., until service time. Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
