Claude Grinslade Obituary
Grinslade, Claude, 93, of Yankeetown went home to be with his Lord on January 31, 2016.
Claude was a semi-retired Pentecostal Pastor. Claude was born in Wewahitchka, FL, November 16, 1922, the son of Herman D. and Lillie (Connell) Grinslade.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Wilda, at home, two sons Calvin Grinslade and his wife Betsy of Okeechobee, FL, Clark Grinslade and his wife Wilda of Lakeland, FL, six daughters Irene Luck of Okeechobee, FL. Lydia and her husband John Kemp of Lakeland, FL, Zella Wanda and her husband Kenneth Snow of Okeechobee, FL, Paula and her husband Richard Sports of Winder, Ga., Nola and her husband James Hogan of Ellerslie, Ga. and Larena and her husband Rufus Miniard of Crystal River, FL,23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Claude was predeceased by two infant twin sons, Jonathan Paul Grinslade and David Saul Grinslade, one brother Burl Grinslade and two grandchildren Janet and John, two great-grandchildren Buck and Destiny.
Family and friends will gather on Sunday February 7, 2016, at the Apostolic Christian Tabernacle, 7961 Green Acres Street, Homosassa, FL 34446 from 1:30 to 3 PM. A celebration of Claude's life will follow at 3 PM. Interment will take place at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell on Monday February 8, 2016, at 1 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Apostolic Christian Tabernacle, 7961 Green Acres Street, Homosassa, FL 34446.
